We had an evening meeting at the University Club on the evening of Thursday June 2. Unfortunately it was the same night as an Oiler playoff game and our attendance suffered. We had a great meal and good conversation. Elizabeth and Gary reported on their attendance at the District conference. Gary reported that through some creative financial transactions our donation reached his school and they were able to purchase chrome books for the school. Thanks to everyone who worked on that project. We did not have a speaker so president Elizabeth shared a you tube video on the subject of "unconscious bias". It sparked an interesting conversation. |
