Rotary June 23

We had a good meeting on June 23.

im Schilds joined us to share a video and educate us on all the things that Rotary is doing with the polio campaign that are over, and above, polio vaccine dissemination. He explained what the “plus” is in Polio +.

He explained that;

              - Polio vaccine campaign includes other  medications including vitamins,  measles vaccines and deworming medications.

              - Rotary has labs worldwide to monitor polio infections, those Labs have been invaluable in monitoring the Covid 19 pandemic around the world;

              - Polio workers have been helpful in education about Covid 19

Judy reported that Agnes is going thru a rough patch in her Cancer battle. Judy has been a great friend and advocate for Agnes .Agnes, we are all thinking about you and wishing you the best. We hope to see you at Pub night next Wednesday.
