The Rotary Club of Houston Skyline (RCHS) is a club geared for the next great wave of Rotarians - young and young-at-heart, diverse in every aspect! We meet on most Tuesdays at 6pm over cocktails and appetizers at Strato 550 Restaurant & Bar atop the Wedge Building overlooking downtown Houston.

We profoundly impact the community, we network, we socialize, we make a difference together while having tons of fun!

RCHS held its first organizational meeting on Tuesday, February 12, 2008, was officially chartered by Rotary International on June 24, 2008, and was in its inaugural year was awarded as District 5890 Small Club President of the Year (out of over 40 clubs) and given Membership Development Award. RCHS was formed with the purpose of attracting young professionals interested in professional development, networking, and community service to the great Rotary family.  We have already partnered with and/or had speak community leaders such as Harris County Judge Ed Emmett, Houston Mayors (Sylvester Turner, Annise Parker and Bill White), Jim (Mattress Mac) McIngvale, Miss Texas USA 2012 Brittany Booker, Oliver Luck, Judge Ken Starr (Pres. of Baylor U), multiple Houston city council members, Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo, Houston ISD (Superintendent Richard Carranza, and the Port of Houston Elementary), George Parnham, Dynamo Charities, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Habitat For Humanity, Search Homeless Shelter, and many more.

The idea for RCHS came from a dialogue of Rotarians and Rotary Foundation Alumni as to why there aren't younger Rotarians., and more diversity in Rotary  Since before its first meeting, RCHS has been attracting young professionals interested in professional development, networking, and community service as well as being a vital youthful contribution to a well-established service organization, Rotary International www.Rotary.org . RCHS is designed to eliminate many of the obstacles to under represented groups becoming Rotarians.

As home to multiple Rotary Ambassadorial Scholars and Youth Exchange Alumni, the Rotary Club of Houston Skyline's members are very involved in Rotary's various youth programs.
