Club Meeting - Houston ToolBank with Marly Maskill

Hey Skyliners! Thanks to our club member Ryan Rundle we get to learn about Houston ToolBank with Marly Maskill who is a partner of our past February speaker Christine Holland with Rebuilding Together Houston. They are the organization that donates tools to Rebuilding Together Houston during volunteering! 

Here is a little information about our speaker:

Marly Maskill is an experienced nonprofit leader, specializing in logistics, project management and nonprofit capacity building. After a three-year stint in the oil & gas industry as a Field Engineer in the Gulf of Mexico, Marly transitioned to focusing her career on community service by joining the United States Peace Corps. The Peace Corps took Marly to Kazakhstan, where she served two years as a Youth Development Facilitator. Marly is currently the Executive Director of the Houston ToolBank where she oversees the growth and development of the organization. The ToolBank seeks to build capacity across the nonprofit sector in the greater Houston area through resource sharing, so that local nonprofits can do more. Prior to the ToolBank, Marly held leadership roles at SBP and the Houston Food Bank. Marly holds a B.S. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, an M.A. in Nonprofit Management from the University of Houston Downtown, and is a Fellow of American Leadership Forum Class LVI. She resides in the East End with her husband and daughter.
