The Rotary Club of Fall River has supported 20 community organizations in the past two years with donations totaling $30,000. On June 7, 2018, the Club celebrated each of these organizations with a special luncheon. The Rotary Club accepts requests from non-profits and school groups, for assistance with equipment and program costs, and makes awards on a quarterly basis. The monies come from fundraisers that are held throughout the year.

At the luncheon a group of six members of the Fall River Symphony Orchestra treated attendees to live music, Forever Paws brought two furry friends, Sail Rec! through Greater Fall River RE-CREATION displayed a new sail for a Vanguard 420 Racing Dinghy, and many other organizations brought displays and pictures of projects made possible through Rotary funding.

Awards range from $250 to $1,500 each and only one request per organization is allowed each year.  Request will next be considered mid-summer.  Applications can be found on www.frrotary.org.
