Overview of Alzheimer's Association (in person)

Jennifer Hoadley, a certified dementia practitioner,  is the Regional Manager of Southeastern Massachusetts for the Alzheimer's Association, Massachusetts/ New Hampshire Chapter.  In this role at the Alzheimer's Association, it allows Jennifer to facilitate a variety of educational programs about Alzheimer's Disease which are offered to the general public, professionals, people living with Alzheimer's Disease or a related dementia and their care partners. Jennifer also educates the public about the 24/7 Helpline and the Care Consultation program with the Alzheimer’s Association which helps in getting people necessary information and referral as well as symptom management strategies. Jennifer also works closely with volunteers to help in educating communities about Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia.  The work with Dementia Friendly Massachusetts is also an important part of the supportive work Jennifer provides in the Southeastern MA region. 

Prior to her position with the Alzheimer's Association, Jennifer worked for over ten years in assisted living as a program director in the memory support neighborhood. She also has experience in a nursing home setting and has run support groups for families affected by Alzheimer's disease.
