President's Message

Lincoln East Rotary Club

Rotary is hosting a webinar series to explore diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout 2020-2021.  The webinar description says that Rotary values diversity and celebrates the contributions of people of all backgrounds.  Rotary is committed to reflecting the communities we serve by being inclusive of all cultures, experiences, and identities.  To help us take action, the first webinar, held on Thursday the 17th, focused on helping us design an inclusive plan for our Club.  The plan should welcome all people, extend to all activities, and have measurable results.   Carol Horner, DGE, Founder and President of Synchronicity, Inc and a member of the Rotary Club of Council Bluffs was one of the speakers.  Carol will be the 2021-2022 District Governor for District 5650.

P.S.  On a Club note, we can use Val’s microphone as long as we wear a mask when using it and then they’ll sterilize it afterward.  Thanks to the many of you who asked.
