President's Message

Lincoln East Rotary Club

This past weekend, Steve Grosserode notified Dick that he’d like to transfer to Honorary Membership status.  He had been moving in this direction but has now made it official.  Steve has 43 years of Rotary membership joining around 1977.   He was the first Chair of our Polio Plus Committee when it was established beginning about 1978.  The Committee raised $22,000 in cash and pledges for Polio Plus.  Polio has remained a cause dear to his heart throughout his membership.  Steve served as a Club President in the 1980s.  We’ll miss seeing Steve and his wife, Pat, at our meetings but we’ll be thinking of them.  More to follow in the next few weeks.
