Tour Nebraska via car
Our original speaker, Bruce Trautwein was unable to attend.  You know that every Rotarian has a story to tell and some have many to tell.  Duane Tappe told us one of his stories, using a quilt that his wife made from T-shirts, about touring Nebraska via car with several other people traveling in their cars.  The CARN tour was started in 1998.

President's Message

Teamwork

Teamwork was definitely on display at the Lincoln East Rotary Club meeting on the 12th.  Andrea was, as usual helping Sue with technology.  Gordon is going to bring a screen for us to use at meetings.   Wayne is setting up the Rotary laptop to use Zoom.  Duane suggested a scheme to make the job of the Treasurer a little easier and Jerry and Dick went to work to do just that.  I forgot to ask Ozzie to lead us in song.  Minnie keeps us on track for programs and the SPOKE.  Thank you all for all that you do and thanks to those of you who are just “happy to be there” at the meetings.

Please keep the following Rotarians in your Prayers and Thoughts:

Barry Stelk -  Chemotherapy
Mike Carr -  Continue to keep him in our prayers as Mike works through his health problems.
Al Burdick -  Continue to keep Al in our prayers as he continues to heal from his bypass surgery and continues to seek help in controlling his knee pain.

We should continue to keep all of our teachers, school officials, and students, EMT's and first responders, hospital doctors and nurses, supermarket clerks, restaurant workers laid off or furloughed and waiting for unemployment, all those who are currently unemployed, human service organizations who still are open to serve those poor/homeless/hungry, funeral home workers, churches, airline employees, hotel employees, gas station and convenience store workers.

If you know of any of our members you would like for us to mention who are ill or need a prayer, please let Greg know and we will put it in the SPOKE.
