Today was Steve Grosserode’s funeral.  Pat had asked the Club to serve as pall bearers so Duane, Paul, Andrea, Mike and I volunteered.  I didn’t get to the graveside service as had another commitment but I expect it was very special with military honors.  The church service was really nice and celebrated Steve’s whole life very well.  It was capped off by stories from 3 grandchildren.  The stories and the priest captured some of Steve’s unique traits.  You have all witnessed some of these traits at meetings:  his ready smile; his curiosity asking questions of our speakers; his willingness to listen; and his determination.  Thank you again Mike, Andrea, Paul, and Duane.  We’ll miss Steve.
