As next week is Thanksgiving, it seems appropriate to make this message about thankfulness.  I’m thankful to all of our Club members for the collegiality we share at meetings.  I’m thankful we got to meet in person for a while during the pandemic as that really helps alleviate loneliness.  I’m thankful to Val’s for letting us meet there whenever the Covid-19 Risk Dial isn’t in the red.  I’m thankful for the contributions of our Club members to the Food Bank, Polio Plus, and now to the People’s City Mission and the Salvation Army.  I’m thankful for the members who assist in putting up and taking down the flags at the Veterans’ Memorial Gardens.  I’m thankful for all the members who volunteer to get speakers for our meetings, who serve as greeters, who volunteer to assist with the media, and who serve as treasurers for the meetings.  Most of all, I’m thankful that we’ve all remained well in spite of the pandemic!  Let’s keep up the good work!
