Jennifer Creager is the Senior Vice President of Public Policy for the Greater Omaha Chamber.  In this role, she also serves as chief lobbyist on the Chamber’s behalf and coordinates the political activities of the Chamber’s political action committee.  She started her career in the Nebraska Unicameral Legislature as a legislative aide and later legal counsel for Speaker Curt Bromm. 

Dr. Courtney Hillebrecht is the Hitchcock Family Chair of Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs and Professor and Chair of Political Science at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.

She shared her educational journey that brought her to be the Chair of Political Science at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.

Some points from her research includes the impact on human rights when the International Justice Regime is compromised, what we can do and key takeaways.

Lincoln East Rotary Members served dinner to more than 100 guests at Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach on March 11.  This service project was part of Matt Talbot’s ongoing effort to engage community volunteers in their meal program, which serves two free meals a day to Lincoln’s less fortunate residents.  Meals are served at Matt Talbot’s location on North 27th Street near Cornhusker Highway.  Matt Talbot is Lincoln’s only kitchen and services center for individuals and families facing homelessness and poverty.
