A Funk native and graduate of Lincoln Southeast, Amie Just joined the Journal Star as its sports columnist after spending five seasons covering football for the New Orleans Times-Picayune and the Missoulian in Missoula, Montana.

Amie juggles multiple tasks in her busy schedule including; writing, listening to audio, pregame writing, and post game writing, all while covering volleyball, football and basketball for the University of Nebraska in Lincoln!

Amie enjoys building in-depth relationships with the players and staff.   Her goal is listening to each story to find the emotion in the moment, creating meaningful writing for everyone.  Thank you for sharing your time and insights with us!

The Rotary Salute to Business Luncheon honoring Cedars will take the place of our regular meeting this Wednesday.

Lincoln Parks and Recreation has asked and assigned our club to plant trees on Friday, October 31, at 10:00 AM, at Herbert Park, which is located at 200 Apache Trail, near the corner of 84^th and O Street. We are looking to plant between 15-20 trees there. Like always, bring your family and friends along! No need to bring any tools, Lincoln Parks will dig and have all the necessary equipment ready for us.
