Give to Lincoln Day - You have until May 30, 2024

Lincoln East Rotary Club Foundation is on the “Give to Lincoln” and it is an opportunity for you, as a member, and maybe your friends to make a donation toward the Lincoln East Rotary Foundation which helps with projects locally and internationally. The Foundation also gives scholarships to students who are furthering their education.

Ride to End Polio - June 8, 2024

District 5650 Ride to End Polio -- June 8

On June 8, 2024 District 5650 is coordinating a local Ride to End Polio. Here a chance to earn funds for a Club Project. There will be bike rides, health fair with UNMC, bike maintenance and safety classes, food trucks and more may be added by June 8th. The ride will be 10, 25, 42, and 62-mile course. The 10 and 25 mile ride will be on a bike trail, whereas, the 42 and 62 mile ride will be on some streets. It will start at the Marcus Twin Theatres, 3909 Raynor Parkway, Bellevue, NE. Can't Attend a Meeting?

There are several ways you can get a make-up if you can't attend a meeting in person and I encourage you do one of these:

1) Join us in a Zoom meeting (See the link in this newsletter)

2) Attend a meeting at one of the other clubs:

a) Lincoln Club 14 -- Tuesday (Noon) - 230 N. 12th Street, Suite 1

b) Living Spirits Club -- Tuesday (6:00 pm) -- JCMF Children's Charities, 8445 Executive Woods Dr., Suite B

c) Lincoln South - Friday (Noon) -- Venue Restaurant & Lounge, Private Dinning Rooms, 4111 Pioneer Woods Dr.

3) Attend a service project or social event during the respective week.

Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) -- June 29th - Omaha, NE -- 8:00 am - 3:30 pm -- Cost $50/session
