On now our total for the Salvation Army is $625.00. Greg will be passing the "jar" again at our December 22 meeting for the Salvation Army. Thanks to all those who donated.
We are hoping to continue through December with Hy-Vee. A survey will be coming to you from Andrea Ahrens about two locations that are possibilities for us to meet. They are The Garage, and Hy-Vee. She will include the Pros and Cons of each, so please mark your survey and get it back to her as soon as possible.

Rotary is an organization with unifying principles: the four-way test, the focus on SERVICE ABOVE SELF, and the annual focus of the international president. How do these guidelines impact the members of LERC and the relationship of members of Rotary to the organization of Rotary? Is there a stereotype attributable to members of Rotary? How diverse can the members of LERC be and still maintain our unity? Does the striving for unanimity override the motivation of individual thinking? Is there a pressure to avoid having dissenters in a club in an attempt to protect relationships? Does the club unknowingly apply pressure for uniformity, and not just unity? I have seen that some organizations do not encourage discussion. Some organizations promote and encourage group think. Don’t even think of coming up with a different view or idea.
Since we are meeting in person make sure you have your "Happy Dollars" ready. For those who still want to contribute if you are unable to attend, please send your check to Dick Cumming.

Even with the vaccine, we continue to keep all of our teachers, school officials, and students, EMT's and first responders, hospital doctors and nurses, supermarket clerks, restaurant workers laid off or furloughed and waiting for unemployment, all those who are currently unemployed, human service organizations who still are open to serve those poor/homeless/hungry, funeral home workers, churches, airline employees, hotel employees, gas station and convenience store workers.
If you know of any of our members you would like for us to mention who are ill or need prayer, please let Greg know and we will put it in the SPOKE.
