We will be helping with the Sun Fun Picnic on July 21st. We are looking for someone to run the picnic on that date along with volunteers to help cook the hot dogs, cook the beans, set-up, serve the food, and clean-up afterwards. This picnic is held at Antelope Park's Auld Pavilion. If you are interested in running the picnic on July 21, please contact Dennis Duckworth, who will be out of town that day, but has all the information you will need. A sign-up sheet will be forthcoming to sign up in the other areas. Thank you for doing what Rotarians do -- "SERVE ABOVE SELF."
Confidants. Talebearers are troublemakers. Too often they get innocent people into trouble. I read the story of a member of the British Army. A few weeks after his recruitment winter set in. They had to wear their greatcoats while on guard duty. His greatcoat was far too long and he found it very uncomfortable to walk in the snow carrying a bandoleer of bullets, a rifle and a bayonet.
Thanks go to the following for "Happy Dollars" on May 10: Eric Christensen, Lyle Schoen, Gordon Bair, Betty Ourecky, Duane Tappe, Andrew Mwape, Dennis Duckworth, Tom Mortimer, Barry Stelk, Dave Caudy, Dave Brolhorst, and Dick Cumming
