W ellness Chairman Greg Schnasse has requested information in regard to any illness by club members and/or their family members. Greg’s contacts: Phone: 402-440-9917 Please keep the following Rotarians in your Prayers and Thoughts: Greg was able to have nice visit with each of the following Wednesday morning. Barry Stelk - Doing alright; Had the first treatment of his second cycle, out of four cycles. The plan is to finish his fourth cycle in mid-October; thus far, no loss of hair, smell, appetite, etc., which is good; goes for short walks around his neighborhood. Mike Carr - Doing fair, but, not as good as he hoped; doing therapy for knees and going to doctor appointments. I volunteered to bring him to Rotary and he said that sounds like an idea, when he is allowed to come, due to COVID-19. Al Burdick - Met with Dr. Gogela and PA regarding his back/knee issue. Their walking plan is helping and received a good report from them. He misses Zoom. He will return to Rotary when able. We should continue to keep all of our teachers, school officials, and students, EMT's and first responders, hospital doctors and nurses, supermarket clerks, restaurant workers laid off or furloughed and waiting for unemployment, all those who are currently unemployed, human service organizations who still are open to serve those poor/homeless/hungry, funeral home workers, churches, airline employees, hotel employees, gas station and convenience store workers. If you know of any of our members you would like for us to mention who are ill or need a prayer, please let Greg know and we will put it in the SPOKE. |
