My journey from a village in Bham, Punjab, India to UNL
Lincoln East Rotary Club heard Dr. Sitaram Jaswal, about his journey from India to the University of Nebraska. He told us that during World War II India was divided with 2/3 of the people going to Pakistan and 1/3 staying in India. He was only 10 years old and in the fifth grade (1948) when this happened.
Lincoln East Rotary Club Foundation is on the “Give to Lincoln” and it is an opportunity for you, as a member, and maybe your friends to make a donation toward the Lincoln East Rotary Foundation which helps with projects locally and internationally. The Foundation also gives scholarships to students who are furthering their education.
