Zoe Olson, Executive Director of the Nebraska Hospitality Association spoke to Lincoln East Rotary about what has happened to the restaurant and hotel/motel business since COVID-19.  Since January 1, 2022 the Restaurant and Hotel/Motel Associations has merged to create the Nebraska Hospitality Association.  There are two governing boards.

Lincoln East Rotary Foundation members presented Lincoln Parks Foundation with a $50,000 contribution toard the Enduring Honor Campaign for Veterans Memorial Gardens on March 24th.

Even with the vaccine, we continue to keep all of our teachers, school officials, and students, EMT's and first responders, hospital doctors and nurses, supermarket clerks, restaurant workers laid off or furloughed and waiting for unemployment, all those who are currently unemployed, human service organizations who still are open to serve those poor/homeless/hungry, funeral home workers, churches, airline employees, hotel employees, gas station and convenience store workers.
