
Shauna Davidson gave an update on the Deki School in Uganda, noting that she and her husband are considering moving to the US permanently. They have begun discussions with another organization about taking over the management of the schools. Despite these changes on the horizon, progress was made this year at the Deki School: additional toilets were built, 5 computers were purchased for the students, and a fence was constructed around the school to prevent encroachment onto the school's land. Additionally, the Lincoln East Rotary Club donated a cheque of $6,000 on behalf of the foundation.
