Robert C. Snider is a native of Lincoln and an accomplished professional percussionist. He returned to Lincoln in 2017 following his retirement from the United States Navy Band in Washington, D.C. He has performed with numerous local symphony orchestras in Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Virginia, and Maryland. In Lincoln, he is a busy freelance percussionist and maintains a home percussion studio. He has been asked to tell stories of his experiences and travels from his 30 years of service with the United States Navy Band when he brings the weekly program to the Lincoln East Rotary Club on July 14.
