Jeff Zvolanek told us about Industrial Maid LLC which was founded in Lincoln, Nebraska by Todd Adam and Jeff Zvolanek, both graduated from the University of Nebraska Engineering College. Todd and Jeff saw an opportunity to produce a simple modular air filtration product line that would keep industrial and commercial facilities clean and safe.

From the empty drawing board of ideas in 2004, we have grown to become a leader in the packaged air filtration equipment industry. Thousands of North American businesses rely on our products and support to keep their workplace clean, safe, and productive. We are proud to be a U.S. based manufacturer and take great pride in protecting employees, assets, and the environment from exposure to poor air quality

Industrial Maid buys a six-acre tract in the Tower Industrial Addition in Cortland, Nebraska, and builds a new office and assembly plant.

Industrial Maid has been at Cortland for about 16 years.  When COVID-19 came along in 2020, they had to do some quick thinking and adapt to what was going on.  They started to expand their sales online, optimized their website and digital marketing and started working on new marketing ideas.  They started working on updated their purification products such as the I-Series.  This I-Series is a two air purification technology system started in 2019 using UV-C light and needlepoint bipolar ionization (NPBI).  In June 2020 the I-Series production was being shipped to many places to help purify the air.  In December 2020 and January 2021 the company has seen the best sales during these two months.

Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization can create a plasma field with a high concentration to attach itself to pathogens taking out odors and particles including the COVID-19 virus pathogens.  Ions attack and kill mold spores, bacteria, viruses by stealing away hydrogen.  Approximately 99.4% of the viruses would be inactivated in 3 minutes.  Ions causes chemicals, gases and odors to break down into harmless compounds.

Introduction of the new Industrial Maid AZTech I-Series Commercial and Industrial Air Purifiers to help businesses protect staff and guests from bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens. The units use proprietary Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization technology to create a field of concentrated ions that travel through the air stream and neutralize particles, pathogens, and odors.

There are several different type of filters that can be used to do the work of purifying the air.  They have sold 30 units so far for both commercial and industrial in North America.  These can be used for education (Daycare, K-12, College & Universities, and Vocational Schools); Commercial and industrial facilities; Healthcare and dental facilities; Performance and entertainment facilities; Athletic and fitness facilities; Greenhouses; Cafeterias and common areas; and Bars and restaurants.  They would like to see meat packing plants use something like this, but they have not been contacted yet.  The cost for one of these units would be in the range of mid $2000 and up, but the cost for running one is quite low.  They would last between seven and 10 years before being replaced.  One of the things you would need to do is change the filter when it becomes necessary.  They have sold about 100 units per month.  The important thing is to make sure areas where employees, shoppers, visitors are kept healthy and safe.
