The Indian Center Inc. executive director Wathina Porter and Josie Shea, director of operations, have been our guests and shared their passion for the community and work at the Indian Center. The Indian Center hosts numerous gatherings each week which includes educational programs, traditional ceremonies, elder lunches, celebrations and more. Meals are integral to each gathering, bringing people together in relationship and nourishing community and traditions.
We were very happy to present Wathina Porter and Josie Shea a check for $1,500.00 in support of the Indian Center's food sovereignty program for the month of September.
