Lincoln attorney Loel Brooks shared his views on the risks associated with artificial intelligence (AI) when he spoke at our meeting on April 22.
He also shared a timeline of AI development from 2023 through April 21 with references to both Nebraska and the nation.
Loel and his wife Patty Pansing Brooks provided a demonstration of AI using suggestions from Rotarians at the meeting.
This AI Poem about Rotary was generated from prompts given by our members.
Through every season’s change, both near and far,
We find our joy in who we truly are,
With friends beside us, life feels full and sweet—
Like flowers, stars, and mornings’ shredded wheat.
In a bowl of shredded wheat at morning light,
Beside fresh flowers blooming soft and bright,
With cheese and laughter shared in easy cheer,
Happiness feels simple when good friends are near.
At Rotary we gather, hearts aligned in grace,
Dreaming big together, reaching out to space,
Like water flowing steady, strong, and true,
We lift each other up in all we do.
Through every season’s change, both near and far,
We find our joy in who we truly are,
With friends beside us, life feels full and sweet,
Like flowers, stars, and mornings’ shredded wheat.
