More than 29 Pleasanton North Rotary and community members registered for the American Red Cross Blood Donation this past Friday at Handles Gastropub.
In an ironic twist, the number of willing donors outpaced available donation spaces and as a result some donors faced a clot of sorts. In the end more than 22 donors gave blood that will be used to save many precious lives.
What an excellent feeling knowing that we've directly contributed to the medical needs of our and surrounding communities.
Remember, we can always donate blood at the American Red Cross location near Kaiser Hospital.
