Pleasanton North Rotary (PNR) members joined more than 600 Rotarians, including Barry Rassin, the current president of Rotary International and five RI past presidents,  Nov. 2 to celebrate Past Rotary President Richard D. King's 50 years of Rotary service.  Mr. King is a beloved past governor of District 5170 and Niles Rotary Club member.

The fabulously successful banquet at Ken Behring's Blackhawk Auto Museum raised $330,000 for the Richard D. King Endowed Fund for Rotary Peace Centers. PNR's own Richard Flanders organized the event and was its masters of ceremonies.  The club congratulates Richard for managing the event with his typical aplomb.

The PNR party at the event included from left to right:  Phil Stone, Michelle Mikatarian, Christine Kyle, Jim Brice, Sean Kyle, Stacey Blaney, Herb Ritter, Ryan Spuller, Mark Linsky, and Ron Sutton.  Not shown, Andre Wright, Melissa Wright, Gina Piper, Susan Dees, Dale Carrillo and Sylvia Luneau.
