Note from President Bevo: Starry Night, Ghost Walk and Board Meeting, Oh My!

Dear Fellow PNR Members,
Guess what is just around the corner!!! How did you know? A Starry Night - and I am sure it is on everyone's calendar. Let's get out and sell tickets. I have the Dublin club covered this week. To whom can you sell a few tickets? Give it some thought and ask, ask, ask. We really need to sell another 100 and I know you can do it. Tom Hall is the ticket chair so get to him for more ideas at thall@glrecap.com.
Many have worked tirelessly on this year's event. Tina is doing a fantastic job as are Dominic, Gina, Carol, Debra, Larry, Herb and Lara in their respective areas. I am sure everyone has done something so thank you for being the best Rotary Club in the world.
Chuck Eggers has really come through with great donation items this past week as has Jim Brice - just to name two.
An item to put on your calendar is the "Ghost Walk" on October 25th. This is in lieu of our regular meeting. Debra Doble is heading this up and will be providing more details. We will have dinner together (likely pizza and beer or wine) at Gay Nineties the doing the Ghost Walk. The Ghost Walk has a limit of 25 so even if you cannot or don't make the Ghost Walk, please come for dinner and a little socializing at Gay Nineties prior to the walk.
We have a PNR Board Meeting this Thursday at Girasole beginning at 5:30. All of you are welcome and encouraged to attend. We want to know your ideas and criticisms.
Thanks for the good attendance of late. Let's keep it up as it is much more fun when all of you are there.
