Looking Forward ...

Pleasanton North Rotary members have a lot to be excited about!  We have 3 new members. Our Valentine’s Sweethearts Dinner is coming up, and our Charter Night reception and dinner is next month.  

We have also started the initial planning phase of our A Starry Night 2013 Fundraiser.  It will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 5 pm at Barone's in Downtown Pleasanton.  We are excited for the change in venue and will start planning meetings soon.

Have you donated to the Rotary International Foundation yet this year? There is still time and if you’re close to become a Paul Harris Fellow. There are several ways we can help you across that great mile marker to become a fellow.

EREY -- Every Rotarian Every Year -- is the acronym that International uses to encourage you to give just a little to help with the fight for Polio eradication, water projects, wheelchairs, stoves, and other projects  in third world countries. Give what you can for those that have less!

I am still looking suggestions for another great hands-on project, similar to REACH. Let me know if you have a project that can be considered when the PNR board meets next week.
