David Eisenhauer, president of the PNR Foundation, will take a few minutes at PNR May 15 meeting to describe his impressions as a participant in the recent Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance's symposium for nonprofit groups and grantmakers.

The meeting, entitled "It's More Than a Treasure Hunt": Learning How to Partner with Grantmakers", involved two panels. Eisenhauer participated in the Foundation Panel along with James Paxson of Hacienda Helping Hands, Nadine Horners of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory's Home Campaign, and Giles Miller of the East Bay Community Foundation.  A separate Corporation Panel included representatives from Kaiser Permanent/Diablo Area, Fremont Bank Foundation, AT&T, and the Clorox Foundation.  The panelists were asked to describe their group's grantmaking philosophy, policies, and procedures.

The public session was held May 14 at the Bankhead Theater, Livermore.
