On Saturday, September 15, the Rotary Club of Pleasanton North sponsored the evening meal for the 2018 East Bay Stand-Down honoring and assisting Bay Area veterans. The event was a huge success providing a dinner feast of Bar-B-Que brisket, tossed salad, fresh roasted veggies, baked beans, hot soup, rolls, drinks and dessert to over 500 Bay Area vets. While the dinner was sponsored by Pleasanton North Rotary, without the help of volunteers from four other tri-valley Rotary clubs, it would not have been anywhere near the success it was. PNR would like to say a big thank you to those members of the Rotary Club of Pleasanton, the Rotary Club of Livermore, the Rotary Club of Dublin and the Tri-Valley Evening Rotary who dedicated their time and efforts to our event. We also send a big thank you to PNR family members, Bob Dees, Bob Hennegan, Doug Mikatarian, Julia Golden, Larry Carrillo, Mike Williams and Shawn Farrel for their help and support.
