Tyler's House 2023 Kickoff 

 

 

 

It was a beautiful memorial service for Mason Ormsby at Village Presbyterian Church on February 18, 2023. Rotarian David Wolfe's remarks were the first to be shared, though he joined the service remotely. It was touching to hear about how the connections formed between Mason and Dave at weekly club meetings had such an impact on both men in their travels and shared interests. Rotarians Ed McConwell, Dennis Monahan, Joe Bast and Emily Randel attended, as well as with former club member Mike Best, now of the Leawood Rotary Club. The entire service was a tribute to Mason's life, so well-lived. The eulogy was centered on the theme of what high praise it is to think of someone as a "gentleman and a scholar." Things we all know Mason truly was! He will be missed.
