Grocery Grab is Coming Soon
GROCERY GRAB AT HYVEE

Ed Coulter is once again head up our Grocery Grab Fundraiser on April 13, Mission HyVee.

Bring your tickets and money this week!  On 4/9, we'll have a Social at The Bar in Mission at which finalists are selected.

If this is new to you, we each sell tickets with names on them. When the finalists are selected, they have 5 minutes to run through the store and collect a cart of groceries.

Ed Coulter is handing out tickets to each rotarian. The goal is to sell those and more!  One idea is to sell to a colleague or friend or neighbor and have them donate it back to heighten chances of a given charity.

Merriam Park Elementary to Kauffman Center
Coach Dre` matched us up with an opportunity to assist the Merriam Park Elementary School and the SMKS Rotary Club Board approved funding.
Merriam Park's  3rd, 4th, and 5th grade field trip (on April 4th) to go to the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.
The students learn so much from this field trip and it’s really reasonably priced.  The Kaufman Center describes the program here, scroll down to April 4th..

The total cost is $484. Kauffman Center’s Open Doors program provided a grant that will cover transportation. All students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th will attend along with the choir director, their classroom teachers, paras, and a few parents to support specific students. Before attending the Link Up: The Orchestra Moves concert, students will learn the pieces to be performed at the concert in music class.  Here's a YouTube example of what They will do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPVu-2MNtZ0.
