It's that time again - to gather and celebrate the holidays and the end of the year, and the strong fellowship of our Rotary Club! Join at Barley's in Shawnee this Wednesday at 6 p.m. We will be doing the White Elephant Gift Exchange - "found/odd" items are welcome! Don't spend much!

Bell Ringing is underway! Our club has a legacy of adopting the Salvation Army kettle at the Walmart in Roeland Park each Saturday between Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you haven't signed up for a shift, please consider doing so. It is a great chance to volunteer with kids, friends, family, and the smiles you receive adds so much to your holidays!

 

The club will hear from Rick Marston, Donor Relations Director from the Salvation Army Kansas and Western Missouri on December 18. Let's welcome him with a full slate of volunteers, honoring our commitment!

Special thanks to the William Baker Festival Singers. They chose the One Stop Shop as the beneficiary of their free-will offering at their performance at Countryside Christian Church November 22. The collection raised $1,500. It was a wonderful night of music and community, attended by several of our club members.
