Last week was our first-ever Rotary Club meeting held electronically! 
Eighteen members joined and participated in the meeting.
This week we start at noon and our speaker is Allison Kelly, Rotary Youth Camp.

Today's Speaker: Allison Kelly
The speaker April 15 is Rotary Youth Camp Marketing Specialist Allison Kelly. Ms. Kelly will ahare about Rotary Youth Camp near Lee’s Summit whose mission is “to provide a life-changing camping experience for disabled and disadvantaged youth.” The camp was originally started by the Rotary Club of Kansas City nearly 100 years ago. The camp includes 40 acres of fully accessible campgrounds and provides free usage for organizations serving disabled and disadvantaged youth during the summer and any 501(c)3 youth organization in the off season.

Constituent Events Manager at Alzheimer's Association®
 
Stacy found us after her move from Cedar Falls IA. 
Stacy's classification is Non-Profit Leadership. She is working for the Alzheimer's Association and has worked the Visiting Nurse Association, Hospice of Southwest Iowa, and the National MS Society.
 
She has fantastic Rotary credentials having served as club president, she is a Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) graduate, she has worked on her former district's Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA) committee, on their food drive committee, served as Purple Pinkie Project Chair, and received the Rotarian of the Year award in 2017.
 
Stacy has two kids; her daughter Shelby is 23 and son Sam is 21. Shelby is graduating from Iowa this may and Sam will finish at the Iowa School for the Deaf in May as well.
 
She writes that she loves to spend time with her family, enjoying refinishing furniture and spending time outside doing whatever! And she looks forward to getting to know us all better and having an impact in our community and world. 
 
Grocery Grab: Drawing Winners!
 
We adapt to serve! Our club meeting was held online yesterday, and we watched while Ed Coulter shuffled our Grocery Grab stubbs! Thanks to everyone who participated this year and for being flexible. The winners of the HyVee gift cards are (drum roll, please....)
