Rotarians Around the World Are Stepping Up
Dear Shawnee Mission Rotarians:

Anyone who would like to join thousands of Rotarians around the world who are stepping up to help the Ukrainian people with basic needs have the opportunity to do so through The Rotary Foundation,   From now until April 30th, all contributions to the Foundation's Disaster Response Fund are designated to provide food, water, medical supplies, clothing, and shelter to those displaced by the current crisis.

Prioritized, expedited grants are being issued to Rotary clubs in areas in which there is a dire need of emergency aid through relief work and on the ground to help displaced families.

To donate, simply go to the rotary.org website.  From the homepage, click "Read More" and scroll down to the link to donate "here" (or sign in to MyRotary to make a donation).  Follow the directions to contribute by credit card.  If you prefer to pay by check, you can give it to me at a meeting or mail to me at 17719 S. Millridge St., Olathe, KS 66062.  I'll be glad to submit your checks to the Foundation.

Rotarians are people of action.  Now is a good time to act by giving to the Foundation's Disaster Response Fund.   Please consider helping in this humanitarian crisis.

Yours in Rotary,

Russ Erickson
