Speaker for this week is Mindy Brissey, board of director for the American Heart Association-Kansas City chapter. We will also be transferring the gavel to Roger at the end of the meeting as we start our new rotary year! It was a VERY warm evening for our installment of new officers, but enjoyable gathering of fellow Rotarians, and the Monahans were really gracious hosts. We all missed our Rotary friends unable to attend! Spring Flowers have been planted at Growing Futures - please let Emily know if you are willing to volunteer to help water them on a rotating schedule. You can do this once or multiple times and can swap dates if you need to. Please Plan Ahead! Location: Shawnee Mission North High School The Harvesters Mobile Food Distribution event at Shawnee Mission North High School (7401 Johnson Drive) will be back in 2022 in months when there is a fifth Saturday. Please mark your calendars if you can volunteer! Dates in 2022: July 30 October 29 December 31 These events are drive-through with volunteers loading food items directly into vehicles. Anyone is welcome to attend and receive food. |
