The sign-up for Mission's Citywide Clean-up is now online. The clean-up will be Saturday, April 23 from 9-11. We'll start at Beverly Park across the street from the Powell Community Center. There will be breakfast and music and fun as everyone gets their clean-up assignments and picks up supplies before heading out. We will tackle our Adopt-a-Street section on Lamar Avenue, but depending on how many volunteers we have, we may be able to tackle a bit more.
Please sign up on this form online. There's a chance to choose a t-shirt size. Even if you don't want a shirt, please sign up anyway so we can get a count of volunteers. Extra shirts is not a problem! https://www.missionks.org/news/citywide-clean-up-event/
Down Syndrome Innovations is still looking for volunteers to help clients with in person interviews at the upcoming job fair on April 26th from 6-8PM at the Powell Community Center. If interested, please contact Amanada Myers, Employment Coordinator at amanda@kcdsi.org or 913-689-2774.
