Today's Speaker: Major Kelli Bailiff
Nate Ourada, Rotarian of the Day, brings our speaker, Major Kelli Bailliff of KC Child Search.
Bailiff was recognized for her service to crime victims in April of 2019 by the Kansas Attorney Generals Office.

Blue and Gold Banquet
Rotarians: You are invited to Pack 3269's Blue & Gold Banquet on Friday February 21. 
The Scouts will cover the cost, so RSVP for an accurate count.
It will be held at Oak Park Carpenter Elementary 10000 Nieman Rd, Overland Park, KS 66214.
It is a time when we celebrate Cub Scouting’s Birthday and our 5th Grade Scouts or Arrow of Light (AOL) cross over from Cub Scouts to Scouting.
(they will be eligible to go to Scout Camp in Oseola or Gieger in St Joseph!)
The Scout Troops that they will be joining will have representative there to welcome the Cubs from our Pack.
We also take a moment to recognize our Adult Leaders.
Olive Garden will be catering Spaghetti.

Rotarians visited Shawnee Indian Mission
Shawnee Mission, like many other missions, was established as a manual training school attended by boys and girls from Shawnee, Delaware, and other Indian nations from 1839 to 1862. The mission is a National Historic Landmark and  sits on a 12-acre site.
  
We will be given a brief history of the site, talk about some of their programs and Master Plan and then members look around exhibits on their own. A light lunch will be provided.
 
 
New Area of Focus for Rotary
Hello Rotarians,
 
Exciting news!! The Rotary Foundation Board of Trustees announced earlier this week they will be reviewing the addition of Environment as a new Area of Focus for Rotary. You have an opportunity to make a difference by completing a survey which will be used to provide input for the Board of Trustees in making their decision. The deadline is January 31.
 
I would also encourage you to take a few minutes to read the ESRAG position paper in support of adding a unique Area of Focus for the Environment.  Please also consider membership in ESRAG.
