Steve Anderson will be our presenter at this week's ZOOM meeting.

Steve has  been highly involved at Shawnee Mission North as they prepare relationships between school body and the business community. He is at the heartbeat of activities in the Johnson Drive corridor and we look forward to hearing ways our club can be involved.

Though we have not been meeting through the #StayHome order, our budget has accrued a significant balance.  The Board made a decision to allocate unused rental and meal funds to assist families in need in this community. We are purchasing gift cards for food, groceries and gas which have restrictions coded in them limited just for those purchases. The principal at SMN suggested we work through the school's social workers ($500). We will also work through Coach Dre`($500) for distribution to families in the larger SMSD school district. 

Through Dre and the North social workers, club is providing a total of $1,000 to families in need to date.

Since the Grocery Grab was also affected by the #StayHome order, this supplements our aid to the community.
