Wayne was born in Flushing which is a neighborhood in New York, NY. He used to play in the park that eventually became the location of the 1964 Worlds Fair. He grew up near the south shore of Long Island just outside New York City limits which made for an easy commute for his father who worked for Pan Am Airways at what became Kennedy Airport. After graduating from KU with a bachelor's degree in Architecture, Wayne lived in Roeland Park. It was here that he met a KSU graduate of fashion design named Peggy. The two got married and had two sons. Their oldest son lives in Camas, WA with his wife Katy and their 9 year old daughter while their youngest son lives in Minneapolis with his wife Katie (yes, two daughter-in-laws named Katy/Katie :) ). Wayne is an Architect that enjoys fly fishing, yard work, and in-home remodeling in his spare time. His favorite place for vacation is any place with a cold water trout stream or with his sons and their families. His favorite book is The Devil in the White City (excellent choice!) and at karaoke night he would sing So Low... so low no one could her him (oh come on Mr. President, I'm sure you have a great voice!). His chosen super power would be continued health for friends, family, and for himself (another great choice!). Wayne's favorite type of food is Italian; he says he could eat it three times a day. Cold pizza in the morning with a big glass of OJ was a favorite when first out of college that he still loves today (though not very often).
