No Wednesday meeting this week. See below for installment celebration event! Shawnee Mission Rotarians, we will be having our Club Installation of Officers on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 6pm. The event will be held at Dennis & Julie Monahan's house, which is located at 8006 Rosehill Rd, Lenexa, KS 66215. We will take this time to celebrate the accomplishments of the past year under Brian Smith's direction and look forward to the new year under Roger Beason's leadership. Feel free to bring a side dish and any special drink you would like to have. Burgers and Brats will be provided. We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday for an evening of fun and celebration. The event will be held outside, unless weather intervenes. Spring Flowers have been planted at Growing Futures - please let Emily know if you are willing to volunteer to help water them on a rotating schedule. You can do this once or multiple times and can swap dates if you need to. Please Plan Ahead! Location: Shawnee Mission North High School The Harvesters Mobile Food Distribution event at Shawnee Mission North High School (7401 Johnson Drive) will be back in 2022 in months when there is a fifth Saturday. Please mark your calendars if you can volunteer! Dates in 2022: July 30 October 29 December 31 These events are drive-through with volunteers loading food items directly into vehicles. Anyone is welcome to attend and receive food. |
