Today, April 1, is our first SMKS Rotary Club Board Meeting using ZOOM. We are praticing so that next week we are ready to kick off our Club's first online meeting. You've probably been using this platform for video conference if you are working remotely at home, or have children/grandchildren who are fluid in most things virtual.

Here's how it works:
1)  Prepare for the meeting by finding a quiet spot in your house with a "safe" background as all of us will be making "home visits" through our backgrounds!
2)  Use a phone, tablet or computer, but make sure it is charged up, and double check that it has a camera and microphone accessible.
3)  Get online and be sure you have a good network signal.
4)  Wayne will send an invitation to join his meeting by email. Hang onto that email so you don't loose it!
5)  Wayne's email has a link that will take you directly to the meeting site. It will instruct you on how to join the meeting.
      a)  You can download the app prior to the meeting if you like.If you use Windows, click the Zoom Logo at the opening of this article, if you use iOS app store for iphone or iPad. Use the Google Play store if you are using android.
      b)  If you want to join, you may. It is not necessary to participate in the meeting.
6)  At noon, Wayne will be in the virtual conference room. All you need to do is click "Join".
7)  As members join, the room will be populated with each of our camera views, Probably fewer than in this picture. There will be two views, this gallery, and a speaker view, which is just that: the speaker will fill the screen with your image at the bottom corner.

See you online next week!
