Growing Futures Early Education Center will host us on Wednesday, October 17 at noon.

We will have a program, announcements, etc. like normal, but we will also be rolling up our sleeves! The group needs help cleaning up their two raised vegetable garden beds for the winter. They will supply the rakes, the club will be donating the yard waste bags, and bring your gloves if you'd like to help! We can take shifts to get the work done, while the rest of the club members have lunch. (We will order in pizza.)
Growing Futures Early Education Center, formerly Head Start of Shawnee Mission, is a non-for-profit organization providing quality early education opportunities and family support services for children in Johnson County. It opened in 1975 as a Head Start summer enrichment program and today serves 250 low-income children and their families.
