The Shawnee Mission Rotary Club will host the beer garden at the Mission Summer Family Picnic Saturday, July 10 from 6:00-10:00 p.m. This is an annual event with a strong following, but this will be the first year that the event will include a beer garden. The event was cancelled in 2020 so people should be excited to be back!
The club will be using the picnic as a "Pints for Polio" event, raising funds for PolioPlus, Rotary's global campaign to end Polio around the world. Polio is still present in just three countries in the world - after once having been an ever-present threat in every part of the world. We are *THIS CLOSE* to ending it once and for all.
