President Shelley Haines led our Business Meeting.

The Little Round House has long been a Rotary project and our goal is to complete the rehab by replacing the spindles and windows. Jack and Collyn are gathering estimates. Jack will also price a bronzed historical marker plaque so the community can fully understand the history and the extent of work the club has taken in preserving the landmark. Most recently we provided the mulch for the the playground area.

The two-Saturday Adopt-a-Park efforts have been successful and the landscaping around The Little Round House has tremendously improved. Thank you to Collyn and Jack for cooridnating the effort and to our early morning volunteers: Sally, Tom, Andy, Carol, Sandy, Scott, Chris and Phyllis Peterson

Bob ordered the dictionaries, so our Dictionary Distribution will be in the next couple of weeks. Watch for the sign-up sheet.

It is time for our annual support of the Agape Food Pantry. Please bring the following non-perishable food items with you to Rotary on 9-25 and 10-2: green beans, mixed veggies,    Pork & Beans, Hamburger Helper. These specific items are in short supply right now.

The board voted to purchase and post a Rotary Meets Here sign to place in the landscaping in front of TimberCreek.

Collyn gave an update on ShelterBox. Most recently they have assisted displaced families in Syria, Sudan, Pakistan and the Philipines. Check out their website for more information. In the past we have provided the $1K it takes to purchase one box plus additional monies to defray the cost of another.
