Methods of charitable giving that can be more efficient than just writing a check

Kat started with Dublin Rotary three years ago and moved to the Alameda Club when she was given the opportunity to work in Alameda.  She was a Rotary International Student to Belgium her senior year of high school and is still in contact with her host sister, Olga.  She has a 16 year old son of whom she is very proud and had a great time at the "Over the Rainbow Prom" with him here in Alameda last Friday night.  She is a Certified Financial Planner ™ with Edward Jones and plans to seek her Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® designation next year.  She volunteers with Wings for Widows and is passionate about and financial literacy and education.  She also has her office on Encinal decorated for Halloween and invites everyone to stop by for a cup of coffee and to see our decorations, she will have donuts and cider available this Friday between 9 and 11 and would love to chat.  Today she will be presenting some ways you can maximize your charitable giving and time permitting, do a brief market update.
