Our Rotary Club will be joining San Francisco Hope Spot the second Saturday of each month to do a beach clean up to keep San Francisco Bay beautiful and healthy.

In April, 2019 San Francisco Bay became a “Hope Spot”.  Hope Spots are inspired by the vision of renowned marine biologist, oceanographer, explorer and author Dr. Sylvia Earle and designated by her nonprofit organization Mission Blue.  A Hope Spot is any special place that is critical to the health of the ocean—Earth‘s blue heart. Hope Spots are about recognizing, empowering and supporting individuals and communities around the world in their efforts to protect the ocean.
