As plans are made for the 2022 elections in Maryland, members of The Rotary Club of Salisbury tonight heard from director Anthony Gutierrez about preparations being made by the Wicomico County Elections Department.  It was an informative presentation about the many laws the department is required to follow and how the department is preparing for legislative redistricting that will occur next year.

Elections Director Anthony Gutierrez, on the right, shares information with club program chairman Phil Whitman.

Our more than 40-year club member Mike Abercrombie was the Get Acquainted...Get Reacquainted presenter tonight.  Mike shared a poster board about his service in the U.S. Navy.  Mike also was recognized for his Paul Harris Plus 7 award, meaning he has contributed over the years $7,000 to the Rotary Foundation.

And members continue to sell tickets for the club's annual raffle that awards a top prize of $10,000.  Tickets remain available from members through October 28.  Tonight, Stacey McMichael and Chris Peek took in the sold tickets and payments.
