Leadership Summit (led by Wendy Myers): Provide scholarships for Rotarians or needy participants for this program designed to improve civic and business collaboration. (September - May)
Graduating HS College Scholarships (led by Jennifer Kermode,
Mentor Coordinator, Mary Ann Looby): Sponsor Scholarships for Summit High School Students:"High Potential" 1 st Generation to College" - 3 Scholarships towards 4-year degree from US college/Univ and renewable;
"Vocational/Helping Professions"
- 2 - 4 Scholarships towards 2 or 4 year degree or certificate. Criteria: 3.0 GPA, financial need, community service, leadership, work experience, extra-curricular activities, and special needs. Students recognized at breakfast meeting. (April - May).RYLA (led by Rolando Cuadrado):
Award 2 HS sophomores. March selection. August participation.Career Days & Student Shadowing (led by Benedicte Manwaring): Establish forums for Rotarians to provide information and "demonstrations" of their professions for students. (February)
