At our last meeting, we heard from two of our Interact students Ximena Martinez and Lauren Huddin that attended the Human Rights Symposium put on by District 5810. They were told of many problems in the world that they were not aware existed. They found out about several different groups that are helping people around the world with everything from mobility to sex trafficking. They are collecting crutches, wheelchairs, and walkers to send to Africa for polio victims. If you have any of these items, please get in touch with Renee Wallace at the high school. Thanks girls for a great program!
